Austin’s Park is back on Groupon again today. The Groupon expires Sep 23, 2011 and you can buy up to 8 of them. At $9 a person, its a great deal. That comes up cheaper than a buy one get one free coupon ( BOGO ).

Golf is back in the price. Also, video games are unlimited again. The drink is in the price now as well. It seems they went back to the old way of doing things, but they added more and lowered the price. Good job Austin’s Park; we will be back.

Austin’s Park (n Pizza) is on Groupon again today. This time for $9 a person. For $9 we may give them a try again. They also seem to be including the drink in the entrance fee, so it should just end up being $9; no more (except you have to buy tokens now).
It seems they no longer offer the buy one get one free (BOGO) coupons like they use to; so if you haven’t been, this would be the time to check them out.
Check it out; the deal is HERE.

Austin’s Park has a Groupon today for 52% off admission. We take the kids there a lot and I figured I would pick some of these up. Don’t miss out on this one for the kids (or you).
It says they expire 10/09/2010, so you don’t have to use it right away; use it for the summer. It comes with all-you-can-eat buffet and rides. Check out the deal here.
Ok, so we have already used the Groupon for Austin’s Park. My oldest son loves (or use to love) this place; but with the changes they did this year I don’t plan to go back much.
Over the last few years, it was pretty common for us to take them multiple times a month, sometimes every week. We would play some golf, hit the video games, and maybe some laser tag (they were too small for the go-carts).
Golf and video games use to be included in the price, but now you have to pay extra for them. Add that to the price increase and you have a package that would hit $50 a person for us. Then you have to also add the fact that they do not seem to have enough staff to run all the rides at once.
This time my oldest was tall enough to ride the go carts by himself, but he could not because no one was there to run them. We got the pleasure of dealing with that after we left (he was not happy about it). If a ride did have staff, you would have to bother them while they were texting. They were nice about it, but teens don’t like to be bothered when they have something better to do.
Also, it use to be easy to find a buy one get one free coupon for them. Even at the old prices with golf and video games, we would only go if we had one. No one in the family likes the pizza there, so we were really paying for the games and attractions. If the kids want pizza and games, we go to Gattiland.
Don’t get me wrong, it’s not terribly expensive for what you get; but now you get a lot less fun for a lot more money. If you like the pizza and your kids are old/tall enough to ride everything I guess it would be a much better deal.
Oh, there is a buy one get one free (BOGO as they are called) coupon for Austin’s Park in the Austin Entertainment Book. This book, if you already do not know about it, contains many coupons for a specific city. I linked to Mr. Rebates where you can get the entertainment book even cheaper than their main website.
The are on Groupon again today. This time for $9 a person. Hmmm, should I try again?
This time the Groupon Staff posted that “Unlimited Video Arcade Games” are included. Lets see if that holds true. If so, I will be buying many.
Ok, so oddly enough we went today since the kids got out of school early. We asked them what they would like to do since we had some time; one said Gattiland, the other said Austin’s Park n Pizza.
We went to Austin’s Park because we had a buy one get one free (bogo) coupon deal from our Austin Entertainment Book (they expire soon). They seemed to have done a lot of changes with their package (for the good).
Golf is back in the deal. Video games are unlimited again. The drink is in the price now as well. It seems they went back to the old way of doing things, but they added more and lowered the price. The salad bar has baked potatoes, the pizza is not as bad as it use to be (but could still be better), and they added some new games and smaller go carts for the kids.
Overall, we had a great time and the kids really enjoyed it. It looks like we will be going a lot more in the future.
These will work great over the summer. We just bought 8 more.
